Here's what people are saying about TransVersions

"Good bet for your sample copy dollar...do yourselves a favour and send these guys some money. TransVersions #4 may have gotten me in trouble...I posted a message on Compuserve complimenting (the editors) and mentioning that I'd recommended Sean Stewart's "Monsters Contemplate the Revolution", Charles M. Saplak's "Visanna" and Stepan Chapman's "The Brain Ruby" for next year's preliminary Nebula ballot. ...it turns out that none of these stories are eligible, since TransVersions is published in Canada. This situation stinks and must be dealt with." --- Kent Brewster, (publisher) Speculations magazine

"Stylish looker.... Editorial duo Sally McBride & Dale L. Sproule have done (a) fine job of professional presentation here. ...texts & grafix boast exemplary finish. Trifik stuff allround." --- Dragon's Breath - International Small Press Review

"This Canadian semipro is a far-above-average effort, lovingly produced and presenting the literature of the fantastic in all its divergent forms. SF/F/H/the surreal--it's all here, often mixed together in quirky or unexpected ways. And a surprisingly high percentage of it is absolutely first-class work. And the artwork? Just as varied in style and tone as the writing. I especially liked the cover... by AnnDel Farrish. Obviously, I strongly recommend this issue." --- Jim Lee, Scavenger's Newsletter 137

"...a nice cross-genre mix of fiction and poetry. Excellent b&w interiors...and a good cover... An impressive debut." --- Ellen Datlow, Year's Best Fantasy & Horror #8

"This is one nifty little magazine - full of great art; peppered with imagic poetry; and literally littered with fine fiction. In fact, not just fine fiction but great fiction." --- Steven Sawicki, Scavenger's Newsletter 138

TransVersions has had work picked for Honourable Mention in the Year's Best Fantasy & Horror. Six poems and two stories from 1995 were recommended by Ellen Datlow.

In 1996, TransVersions was nominated for three Aurora Awards, specifically: "Lost in the Mail" from Issue #3 by Nebula Winner Robert J. Sawyer, TransVersions Magazine, for best English Other, and DLSproule for artistic achievement. In 1997, TransVersions was nominated for two more awards, specifically: TransVersions Magazine, for best English Other, and Jeff Kuipers for Artistic Acheivement (For his Issue #5 cover ).
